If Ufo-ET 2 is anything but vaporware then it had better have some "cool" features like walking around in mini-battlemechs like the described power armor.
Just soldiers with better armor and better guns doesn't have the same coolness factor.
But if it's described as those fellas toting around "vehicle mounted weapons that mere humans couldn't even lift" it sounds much bigger - even though the endgame rifles probably outclass the DesertSpiritCannon...
Turn based stuff just isn't en vouge any more so it has to at least sound cool. =P
BTW: The "Protected by Anti-Spam ACP" at the bottom of the forum pages looks pretty funny considering the amount of spam posts with "Nokia blah super sales" or the likes.

A problem I have with this game is as soon as you step out of the vehicle to get the aliens you always have 2 to 4 of them right there. This is extremely unfair when doing the missions on Earth because you end up taking one or two steps then your whole team (packed together like sardines in a can) get roasted by fire and shot at.
Normally, before a ship would land, it would fly over the site and pick a spot where few or no aliens are-this gives you a chance to at least deploy your troops then "hunt the enemy down". I have the best ship and it has weapons and armour, so why doesn't it straff before landing?
Suggest any future update to the game (or to the second game being developed) have either your troops already deployed when the ship lands or land in an area with least resistance.

Here is another game balance issue: The walking tank the aliens have, I feel, is the hardest alien in the game because when it comes out you probably only have plasma weapons or less (I still have shotguns for some of my people). It's way too hard.
Also there seems to be way much variance in how many hit points the aliens have. Most evident when on the Earth missions, it seems laughable when I kill the flying tank with the little alien in it with one shot (using best rifle) but it takes 6 shots to kill the other one.
Suggest either having some sort of hit point bar above their heads, to show who is really strong and who is really weak or have less varience.

A UFO is almost dead so it lands. Why can't my fighters straff it and hit while on the ground?
